About Youth Concerts

Every season, the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra performs for some of its biggest audiences during these special concerts. Students from all over Southwest Michigan converge at Miller Auditorium on Western Michigan University’s campus for a themed concert designed specifically for young audiences.

Truly a community collaboration, the full symphony orchestra performs six concerts over three days, informed by an accompanying digital curriculum designed by Symphony staff in partnership with area music educators that includes historical and cultural information, listening exercises, movement, art, and so much more!
