Western Michigan University School of Music
When did you first discover your instrument? How old were you?
My mother played violin and viola in KSO.
At age 5: Piano. Age 8: Violin. Age 12: Viola.
How did you come to be with the KSO? What is your best memory here?
I was attending a Bronson Park KSO concert and said I would be a member of this orchestra someday. Barry Ross helped me get a Music major scholarship at WMU. My audition with Mr. Takeda.
What are your hobbies/interests outside of the music world?
Gymnastics in high school. As an adult, I became a Registered Nurse for 30 years after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Music from WMU.
