Biography

Paige Heidrich (PAY-j HIDE-rick)

Paige Heidrich is a performer, teacher, and director currently based in mid-Michigan. She has appeared on stage as Alice Ford in Falstaff, Lady Billows in Albert Herring, Geraldine in A Hand of Bridge, Pamina in The Magic Flute, and Constance in Dialogues of the Carmelites.

She also sings regularly in the Detroit Opera chorus. As a director and assistant director, she has been contracted with Des Moines Metro Opera, the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, and Opera de Metro, among others. Paige is currently serving as a temporary full-time assistant professor of music at Grand Rapids Community College, where she teaches applied voice, diction courses, and conducts the College Choir. She also teaches at Saginaw Valley State University, Albion College, and the MSU Community Music School.

She completed a Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice Performance from Michigan State University in May 2025, defending her doctorate with the staging of the chamber opera The Ghosts of Gatsby and a corresponding document. She holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance from MSU as well as undergraduate degrees in Voice Performance and Music Education from Baldwin Wallace University’s Conservatory of Music.
